What to do in Paris on the weekend of January 28, 29 and 30?<

This weekend, we're working on our zygomatic muscles, we're traveling on our plate and we're getting a kick out of it.

Having a good time

From January 29, Tom Villa sets down his bags on the stage of the Théâtre de l’Européen, every Saturday. With his only on stage called "The nominees are...", the comedian depicts society with his only weapon, his pungent and subtle irony. From ecology to social networks to themed weddings: nothing escapes the sharp punchlines of Tom Villa. And if you can't applaud him on the Parisian stage, know that he will be touring all over France. So you have no excuse...

Tom Villa, “The nominees are…”, Théâtre de l’Européen, 5 rue Biot Paris 17e. From January 29 to February 26, 2022, every Saturday at 5 p.m. More information and reservations here.

Discover the finesse of Marcello

What to do in Paris on the weekend January 28, 29 and 30?

Below the Saint-Germain market, the Marcello restaurant, slightly hidden, is the address of choice for passing gourmets. The Italian menu sticks to the classics but gives them a nice shot of modernity. The Spritz is reinvented in a winter version with clementine; when the burrata is dressed with a tapenade of black truffle and grilled almonds; the gnocchi made with ricotta and pumpkin are paired with gorgonzola sauce and spicy sausage; and the veal chop cooked at low temperature hides under a blanket of scarmoza. On the dessert side, the essential tiramisù is made light under the leadership of pastry chef Marianne Quijada, when the pistachio is made royal in a dessert dedicated to it. If the place is magnificent, the plates, for their part, seduce by their finesse. Winning combo.

Discover Thierry Mugler

Since September 30, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs has hosted the sublime exhibition “Thierry Mugler, Couturissime”. The opportunity to (re)discover the sumptuous and iconic creations of the French couturier, who died on January 24, at the age of 73. But also to learn more about the remarkable journey of the man who knew how to revolutionize the world of fashion, haute couture and perfumery. An exhibition that today sounds like a sweet tribute, to be admired until April 24, 2022.

“Thierry Mugler, Couturissime” exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, 107 rue de Rivoli Paris 1st, until April 24, 2022. More information and reservations here.
