World PC expeditions reached 341 million units last year, the highest total since 2012<

"While 2021 was the year of digital transformation, 2022 will be the year of digital acceleration," said Rushabh Doshi, CANALYS principal analyst."The importance of faster, better, more resistant and more secure PC has never been so great, and the industry is ready to innovate and push the limits to maintain this momentum," added Doshi.

Ishan Dutt, principal analyst at Canalys, said that personal computers are now in the hands of young students and older members of the family, and that the possession of two or more computers in developed countries has become the norm.
