The secret was so well guarded that David Ellis was in the sacristy of Notre-Dame Church when the Member of Parliament for Dubuc, François Tremblay, announced that he would receive the Medal of the National Assembly of Quebec. Speaking as honorary President of the rendez-vous Musical de Laterrière on Sunday afternoon, he thanked the organizing Committee for having put together a raised edition. Then came the homage itself, a few minutes before the last concert on the program.
