8 easy-to-make Halloween costumes<

Kim Kardashian at the MET Gala

One of 2021's fashion moments that will be long remembered is this Balenciaga look of Kim Kardashian at the Met Gala (pictured above). Covered in black from head to toe, the American has been the source of many memes:

All you need is a black t-shirt and two pairs of black tights. The first on your shoes and your legs and the second on your face. Just tie your hair in a ponytail. Add black gloves and, if you have them, a yard or two of black fabric for trolling. If you want to be a real Kardashian, put makeup on your face below:

And if people don't recognize your outfit as Kim's, you can always say you're a Harry Potter Dementor.

The little character of TikTok

This year, a 13-year-old ad from American brand Starburst went viral on Tiktok. A man dressed in a Victorian-inspired outfit sings: "Berries and cream, berries and cream, I'm a little lad who loves berries and cream."

The announcement was rediscovered by users and had the effect of a bomb on the application. Suddenly, everyone was doing this “little guy” dance.

You can find plenty of inspiration on TikTok and you won't need much: grab a dark shirt, dark pants, and white knee-high socks. Ideally, you already have the bob cut that goes with it. The only thing you may need to buy is a white collar or a top that already has it. You can always (re)wear this piece later without any problem.

The doll from Squid Game

8 costumes d'Halloween faciles à réaliser

This is probably one of the most obvious costumes this year. The South Korean series “Squid Game” is a hit on Netflix and will also be popular for Halloween. But instead of buying a green or pink workout outfit that then sits unused, dress like the doll from the first game, for example.

You need a yellow shirt and an orange dress. You can always wear both later on, as these colors pair beautifully in the fall. Or wear them separately.

For the hairstyle, it is enough to make two pigtails. A pair of white knee high socks will finish the look. For those who want to go deeper, learn the song whose lyrics are: “Mugunghwa Kkoci Pieot Seumnida”, which roughly translates to “The Hibiscus Flower Has Bloomed”.

Warm like Bernie Sanders

If you've planned an outdoor Halloween party, the Bernie Sanders costume he wore at the Joe Biden inauguration is a great option.

The costume is quick to pull off: an olive green jacket (the original Bernie wears is Burton's Edgecomb jacket), a blue sanitary mask and knitted mittens. If you want to take the costume to the next level, add a folding chair. If you still need to buy mittens, these are a very good investment as they will keep you really warm, even in freezing temperatures:

Cool and simple like James Bond

Almost every man has a suit hanging at home. And if you don't have one, that's a good excuse to get one. To be James Bond, you don't need much, just a well-fitting suit. If you want to be extra, carry a martini on you as an accessory.

You can also grab a plastic gun, but the martini is a bit more casual and festive.

Royal Leerdamm

Stickers like Olivia Rodrigo

The new darling of American pop can also be a costume inspiration. To do as on the cover of his first album, Sour, just stick multicolored stickers on the forehead, cheeks and nose.

For the very lazy: the ghost or pumpkin disguise

This is also a trend that has already spread on Tiktok last fall. Dress up as a ghost or a pumpkin. For the pumpkin costume, you take your everyday clothes and a big squash from the supermarket, in which you carve a face. Put it on your head, like rapper Megan Thee Stallion. The result is surprisingly Instagram-worthy:

The only even easier option is the ghost option. Take an old white sheet, cut two holes in it, and your Halloween costume is ready.
