4 questions we asked ourselves after seeing the eternal<

ALERTE SPOILERS.

We expected him firmly, and the eternal does not disappoint. If it can divide, the fact is that the new Marvel is as generous as they are expected. It offers a revival in the MCU and raises a whole bunch of questions.

Leaving the room, we had four that seemed important to us.And which we tried to answer.

Honestly Yes.The characters, namely beings created by the celestials whose aim is to protect humans against the deviants, are faithful to the comics. There are a few points of minor differences and others more substantial, but nothing huge either.Let's take a closer look.

Birth in itself differs since, in comics, the celestials created the eternal directly on earth from human DNA.Regarding the characters in themselves, the differences are mainly gender changes (Makkari, Sprite and Ajak are in the comics of male heroes). Also, Phastos has no relationship with another man in the comics, and Makkari is not deaf.

In addition, Gilgamesh is supposed to be a truly lonely character, Kingo a samurai and not a Bollywood actor, and there has never been a love story between Sersi and Ikaris - but with Dan White (Kit Harington), yes.The biggest changes concern Ajak, which has never been the group leader.Rather, it is Zuras, a flagship character whose absence is perhaps the biggest distance with the comics.

It would be added that, in the comics, Sersi is one of the most powerful characters, of the same ilk as a Scarlet Witch or Jean Gray - which the conclusion suggests, but not at this point. Finally, the shape of the deviants, kinds of animal creatures, has much to do with that of comics. In paper, these are humanoid monsters forced to hide on earth.

If we just talk about the visual universe, it should be noted that the most cult Kirby boxes, with a huge spatial celestial, are quite like what Chloé Zhao was able to offer, especially in the meeting scenes with Arishem.

4 questions qu’on s’est posées après avoir vu Les Éternels

Loading the twitt ...

This is the big question. We thought that the film would introduce a character from the MCU, like the slightly clumsy post-generic scene of Shang-Chi.Not even.We are tease with this end and then the two post-generic scenes, rather than evoking what the eternal 2. A priori will be concentrated on, we will not see them, Makkari and the rest of the team before this film. The latter was not announced, so it should not happen before 2024. It seems distant.

There is another possibility to take into account: we will see them again in another film before. But it is difficult to see their quest integrating into space films already announced.Thor: Love and Thunder will focus on the return of Jane and the villain embodied by Christian Bale, where the guards of Galaxy 3 should logically turn around (or not) of Gamora, and The Marvels around the powers of Monica Rambeau, acquired during Wandavision.

Nothing is impossible as these films remain vague for the moment, but it seems not very credible.Just as a series seems too early.Ultimately, it may not be the real question. We suspect that there will be one the eternal 2, that we will probably not see them before. What's after?Basically, Disney's interest is to exploit its characters. So it's a safe bet that after the eternal 2, the team joins other heroes in future adventures. It’s in any case the logical continuation of things, but it’s not for now.

This is where things get complicated. Those who had managed to pass between the spoilers of theories, however numerous they are, were surprised to see Harry Styles join the MCU, with a fairly questionable look and accompanied by a slightly muddled FARFADET (which n'is not final, remember the Thanos of the post-generic scene of the first Avengers). It must be recognized that there is an air in the face of the face which suggests that the casting is pretty good.

On the personal side, you should know that Eros is an eternal ancient who left the earth for Titan, the moon of Saturn.Yes, Eros is Thanos' brother.Because Thanos is, in the comics anyway, an eternal ancient.Described as malicious and seducer, he has plethora of powers, ranging from superhuman force to a capacity to heal any injury thanks to a power of cosmic energy control. Each character in the film has only a power, no doubt that Eros will only have one too.It is still necessary to see the place he will take in the team, and in the MCU in general.

Ah yes, if you had not followed, you may not have known that Kit Harington had been cast to embody the black knight-no, it's not Batman.Information for a long time, that fans of the somewhat experienced comics who would have missed the info could have guess, since his character in the film is called Dane Whitman, namely the civil identity of the hero.

In the comics, Dane recovers the costume of his uncle, Nathan Garrett, who died following a fight with Iron Man - it's undoubtedly him, or another distant patriarch, since he explains to Sersi, before she disappears, that he has a complicated family.Garrett would be the descendant of one of the knights of the round table, and is literally a knight.Yeah, a knight superhero.

It may seem ridiculous in the face of wizards, gods, super-humans ... But in comics, Black Knight is a solid character, who was part of the Avengers and fought Kang-you know, the villain that Jonathan Majors incarnatesAnd which should be the new Thanos. It remains to be seen whether Kevin Feige wants to offer him a solo film or introduce him into another film - and if so, which, apart from the eternal 2?Even, and this is a completely plausible option, offer it a Disney+ series alone before the second part.

The future will tell.
