It was one of the most anticipated evenings of the year for Albert II of Monaco. The foundation that bears his name had prepared everything for the fifth Gala for Planetary Health, which changed location this year, moving from the Casino de Monte Carlo to the Prince's Palace. The event is important for the monarch: it sums up an entire year of work for the Foundation and the presence of Hollywood stars rubbing shoulders with the Grimaldis helps raise funds to carry out its mission of environmental protection. However, Prince Albert is going through a difficult time, with the absence of Charlene of Monaco, who is recovering from a serious illness in South Africa. The Princess of Monaco was therefore on the front line to comfort her brother and welcome the guest of honor, Sharon Stone.

The princess, wearing a Chanel Haute Couture dress from the Spring/Summer 2021 collection, was accompanied by her eldest son, Andrea Casiraghi. His daughters, Charlotte Casiraghi and Alexandra of Hanover, did not attend the reception, unlike a handful of actors and actresses, who came from both sides of the ocean. Starting with Sharon Stone, who never stopped smiling during the event, and who chatted animatedly with Caroline during the photocall. Alongside the star, who received a prize from the Foundation to reward her commitment to the environment, many other guests paraded, such as Orlando Bloom (who received the same prize in 2018), French actresses Mélanie Laurent and Pom Klementieff, Spaniard Jon Kortajarena, and models Sofia Resing and Frida Aasen.

From South Africa, Charlène sent a message via her social networks wishing the best for the event (which was also attended by the foundation that bears her name, of which her brother Gareth Wittstock is director). During this time, Pauline Ducruet, the daughter of Stephanie of Monaco, occupied the place of her mother, also absent, in the family photo, next to her boyfriend, Maxime Giaccardi. A happy family photo but with one of the strangest mixtures that we have seen at the Grimaldis in recent years.
