RCS XV: Between recovery and health pass in Saint-Sulpice<

On September 12, the RCS XV should find the way to the competition and play its first championship match in Agde. For several weeks, training has resumed.During this long break, the president and the leaders worked to prepare for this return to competition.A new problem has been added, that of the health pass required for each. When we know the reluctance of some in the face of this obligation, one can of course wonder what is on the side of the RCS XV.Éric Roca The General Manager gives us answers.

Where are you preparation?

We have devoted the month of June to find sports and human sensations that we missed. With one session per week, the goal was to regain a taste to come and train, touch the ball and of course have fun together. The players were quite present (about 45 per session).Since the beginning of July, we have resumed more classic sessions with the preparation of the start of the season: physical preparation, work of the game project.Training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday. We also try to create cohesion between new and old.During this vacation period, we are between 30 and 40 players.

RCS XV : entre reprise et pass sanitaire à Saint-Sulpice

The federation has announced that the health pass will be compulsory.Do players are reluctant?

What was feared happened. The obligation of the health pass.Difficult to know the opinion of the players to date but I think that beyond sport, this pass becomes compulsory for any personal and sporting activity so we do not have too much choice. We will have antivaccins. We will deal on a case -by -case basis.

Does this lead to some fears?

Not especially, everyone's wish is to find an increasingly normal life and suddenly a normal sports competition without asking the question every day to know if we are going to play on weekends.

Have you programmed one or more friendly meetings before resumption of the championship?

We will go on an internship from August 27 to 29 and we will play with teams 1 and 2 in Balma on Friday September 3 at 8 p.m..
